  I was recommended by another patient to see Mr Rashid when I tripped and fell damaging my Left elbow. Only four days after being treated in my local A&E Department I managed to get an appointment with Mr Rashid.He fully explained by problems once he reviewed the CT and X ray scans. An exploratory examination was scheduled for a week later once the swelling had reduced. Mr Rashid was very clear in his intentions which were to be finalised only after he saw the damage to my elbow during the procedure. The resulting options were discussed and having been put at ease, I consented for Mr Rashid to do what he had to do on the understanding he would aim to do as little as was required to prevent long term arthritic issues.
  Follow up appointments with the surgeon and his physio team continued for three months with a slowly increasing removal of limitations to ensure good and safe healing. Throughout, Mr Rashid was available and accessible and always provided great support when required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Rashid and his team for anyone requiring treatment or surgery for shoulder or elbow injuries which are understood to be his specialties. My thanks and appreciation go out to Mr Rashid for all his care and attention as now, one year post treatment, the injury is almost completely forgotten with virtually 100% mobility restored.
