  I was referred to Mr. Rashid with a distal triceps tendon rupture. It was a late presentation as the accident had happened more than 2 months before and my condition had been mis-diagnosed at A&E.
  
  Mr. Rashid saw me the day after my diagnosis and had even booked a surgery slot for the following Monday morning to avoid any further delay. From the beginning, he was extremely clear in terms of the surgical procedure, recovery process and potential range of final outcomes, being pleased to answer all of our questions. Equally important, he was extremely empathetic and reassuring.
  
  The surgical procedure went very smoothly despite the need for an allograft. He also put me in contact with a physio specialist in this type of injury.
  
  A few months in, I am extremely pleased with the outcome and have regained full functional use of my left arm, being able to carry on with an active lifestyle (golf, gym…) as before the injury.
